Lead Teacher
Location: Union City & Fairburn, GA
Position Type: Part-Time (After-School & Summer)
We’re looking for dedicated educators who thrive in a hands-on, enrichment-based environment and are ready to help shape the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders.
Position Overview:
The Lead Teacher is a hands-on educator responsible for guiding students through interactive STEAM-based lessons and ensuring a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment. Lead Teachers design and deliver activities, manage group dynamics, and serve as role models of Mental Fitness values: respect, kindness, helpfulness, manners, and consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
● Plan and implement age-appropriate STEAM activities and experiments
● Lead daily homework support and structured academic time
● Supervise and manage a group of students with the help of assistants
● Ensure student safety, engagement, and emotional well-being
● Communicate effectively with parents and staff via Brightwheel
● Document activities and share photos/videos weekly
What You'll Bring:
● Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood, or related field preferred
● 2+ years of experience in a classroom or childcare setting
● Strong classroom management and leadership skills
● Passion for STEAM learning and child development
Teacher Assistant
Location: Union City & Fairburn, GA
Position Type: Part-Time (After-School & Summer)

Position Overview:
The Teacher Assistant plays a key role in supporting Lead Teachers in delivering engaging, STEAM-based activities and maintaining a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment. Teacher Assistants help guide students through enrichment experiences while modeling the values of respect, kindness, helpfulness, manners, and consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in preparing and delivering age-appropriate STEAM activities
● Support homework help and academic reinforcement time
● Help monitor students and manage transitions and routines
● Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners
● Communicate observations and updates to Lead Teachers and staff
● Participate in team meetings and training sessions
What You'll Bring:
● High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or relevant coursework preferred
● Experience working with children in a group or school setting
● A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
● Passion for child development and an eagerness to learn
