Our program at Inman Middle School is growing to meet the needs of our students. Last year we began a pilot program to focus on 20 students that could benefit from having additional after-school tutorial, STEAM enrichment, a healthy snack and supper and some great relationship building with their peers.
With the help of a group of great teachers at Inman who are volunteering their time, a wonderful restaurant owner (Souper Jenny), transportation from Operation P.E.A.C.E. and staff from Mental Fitness we worked with the administration at Inman to provide a great service for students who need it.
Our goal is to this coming year expand the program and truly make a difference in the lives of more children and families at Inman Middle School. If you are interested in helping us in this effort, please call the Program Director John Childs at 404-969-6351 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Be on the lookout for information on our fundraiser night out on the town at The Atlanta Woman's Club on August 17th at The Wimbish House. We will take the time that evening to honor both Kwanza Hall and Joe Stewardson for their contributions to the Old 4th Ward Atlanta, GA. All proceeds donated to Mental Fitness that evening will be used to facilitate our programming at Inman Middle School.
We will also continue our paid before care programs for students.
Before Care begins at 7:30 a.m. and meets in the cafeteria ($25/week)
